A better fit for neighborhood lawns.
For smaller residential properties, we prefer push mowers because they give us more control around landscaping, sidewalks, trees, and tight spaces—without bringing unnecessary heavy equipment onto your lawn.
Lighter equipment also helps reduce unnecessary soil compaction and the risk of ruts while still giving the lawn a clean, detailed finish.
Why Push Mowing Works
Built by a dad and his twin daughters.
Hi, I’m Rob Halkides. Before moving into IT consulting and teaching, I spent nearly 10 years working professionally in landscaping and lawn care. In 2025, my twin daughters and I started SRS right here in Thornton Farms to work together, serve our neighbors, and help them earn toward their travel sports.
Today, we combine that experience with the personal care of a small family business, serving residential lawns and smaller commercial properties in Dexter, Chelsea, and nearby communities.
